From the crowd of multiracial faces to the signs displaying their multicultural backgrounds, these people united with clear and concise messages chosen by the organizers of the rally. Drawing specific attention to the sign at the far right in the front of the crowd, “We demand an end to police brutality now!” begs to question, what has changed for the better in the last 57 years?
This photo of protestors at the Lincoln Memorial, through the lens of colored photography delivers a heightened significance. A crowd of people on the Washington Monument grounds hold hands and sing during the "March on Washington" in 1963. The people are of different races. In reference with the 2020 national protests against police brutality, this photo offers a stunning reflection of where we’ve come from to where we’re at.</dcterms:description>
